My husband John and I are here on the South Kona coast of the Big Island. We are enjoying a three week stay at our friends Kathryn and Joseph’s in the lovely town of Honaunau. We are staying in their beautiful home about 750 feet above sea level looking down on K Bay and Honaunau – the place of refuge.` I am excited to be transmitting today from their Gemini Awakening Studio – it is pretty cool to be here!
I have been having very vivid dreams the last few nights and woke up right before dawn to the moon glowing above the water. So beautiful.
After the sun rose, we started our day with a wonderful 2 hour swim in Kealakekeua Bay. K Bay is one of 3 bays on the South Kona coast where the spinner dolphins come to rest in the mornings after hunting in the deep sea at night. We are feeling very grateful that they came into the bay this morning and spent over an hour swimming and playing in the bay before hunkering down to sleep. It is one of the most magical things I have experienced in my life and every time I am near them I feel my heart become filled with their loving energy.
Today was really cool and I am feeling so very grateful. Speaking of gratitude – Tomorrow is the Thanksgiving Holiday in the United States. It is the one day of the year where we collectively focus on the things we are grateful for in our lives. Gratitude is a very powerful tool to help us shift our energy. I would be honored if you joined me in a few moments of gratitude.
Lets take a nice full breath and as you inhale think about something you are grateful for. Breathe in gratitude and on the exhale send gratitude out. Receive another deep breath and feel your heart expand and become more grateful. A few of these cycles can help us to shift energies that might get in the way of us feeling grateful. Peaceful and loving. On the next inhale breath in peace and on on the exhale send peace out into the world. Let’s take a few more breaths focused on peace. Get into your own breath rhythm and notice how you feel as you breath in and breath out peace.
Let’s take a few more breaths together and this time lets focus on love. Breath in love deeply in your heart and on the exhale feel your heart send love to where it is most needed right now. Breath in peace, love and gratitude and send it out to the world on the exhale.
Thanksgiving day is one day on our calendars. We don’t have to wait until Thanksgiving to feel more gratitude in our lives. I believe that the more we can be grateful, the more we will have to be grateful for in our lives. It is such an easy, yet powerful tool to work with. All we have to do is focus our breath for a few minutes and think peaceful and loving thoughts.
For those of you in the United States I wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving. And remember, we don’t have to wait for Thanksgiving to be grateful. We can choose to be grateful each and every day.
I want to thank you for being grateful with me today. I am deeply grateful for YOU! I look forward to seeing you soon – As they say in Hawaii – A Hui Ho, or, until we meet again.
Gently moving forward,
Kat
